WIGE Media AG provides cameras for 3D-feature film 'Wicki auf großer Fahrt'

The first part of Bully Herbigs Wickie-films named 'Wickie und die starken Männer' became a great popular success in 2009. Almost five million spectators in Germany saw little Wickies adventures on screen. Its sequel 'Wicki auf großer Fahrt' will air by september 2011 and will be the first german spoken Real-3D-Film in theaters. During the shooting – this time directed by Christian Ditter – WIGE Media AG functioned as a technical provider in order of Rat Pack Filmproduktion GmbH.

On the sets in Bavaria and the isle Malta one of the cameras used by the production is the Mini-HD-Camera CUNIMA MCU[2] from WIGE. This camera delivers with its very compact size (182g, 33,5x38x111,5mm) images at the technologically highest stage. Thus CUNIMA MCU[2] brings ideal preconditions for stereoscopic recordings. This project makes use of it as a self-sufficient system as well as in combination with a recorder. Furthermore WIGE provided a camera technician who attended the shoots until the end in autumn 2009.
