WIGE partner 3alityDigital provides S3D equipment for Peter Jackson's Hobbit-films in 3D.

The prinicipal photography of Jackson's “The Hobbit” will begin in February 2011 and be shot in stereoscopic 3D. For these two films Jackson has announced he intends to use the latest camera and S3D technology. Above all, he demands a high quality to enable a comfortable experience for the audience.

For this purpose, Oscar-winning director Peter Jackson will use 3ality Digital’s camera rigs, zip stereo image processors and Red Epic cameras. 3alityDigital has been our partner for a long time now. We are excited to see the results soon.
