Since mid October the Austrian TV Station "Puls 4" shows new episodes of "Quiztaxi". This show puts the unsuspecting passengers of a taxi into a quiz show where they can win money instead of paying for their ride.

October, 2010:
American Cinematographer has published a report about camera tests especially for low-budget 3D-productions. Cinematographer Andrew Shulkind and the production company World War Seven tested equipment for action films which needed fast and agile cameras. Up front CUNIMA MCU [1], which persuaded with its small size to keep rigs light.

September, 2010:
The second part of the successful german feature film 'Wicki auf großer Fahrt' is being produced in 3D. For this project two CUNIMA MCU [2] on a Side-by-Side rig were provided by WIGE. [read more]

WIGE Media AG and Studio Berlin Adlershof GmbH found StereoVision Group to associate their activities in 3D-productions. StereoVision Group is a Full-Service provider for the growing 3D sector and will make 3D equipment available from the sterescopic camera to the OB-truck. [read more]


July 24th, 2010:
Studio Hamburg / Studio Berlin and WIGE Media AG produced 'Lang Lang: The Third Dimension' - a piano concert in Live-3D and cinema quality. WIGE was responsible for the technical concept on behalf of Sony / ContextTV and Jens Wolf, Senior Manager Innovation & Technology as the Head of technical department on set. [read more]


July 20th, 2010:
WIGE produced in Cooperation with Studio Berlin / Studio Hamburg the 'Oberon Trio' and a string quartet in stereo 3D as a LiveOnTape-Production under live-broadcasting conditions with a broadcast van. Stereoscopic technology, supervisor and 3D operators were all provided by WIGE Media AG. [read more]



May/June, 2010:
WIGE produced in cooperation with Impact Image the English flying squadron 'The Red Arrow Fighters' as a 3D Motion-Ride for the London Science Museum. It was in charge of the whole 3D Stereo technics there and provided the stereographer / supervisor. [more news soon]


May, 2009:
3alityDigital and WIGE shot a 3D Teaser for the upcoming production of 'The Dam Busters' together with Weta Workshop directed by Peter Jackson, director of oscar-winning “The Lord of the Rings”. WIGE provided a production team and parts of the stereoscopic technology in Wellington/New Zealand. [more news soon]
