The CUNIMA MCU[2] looks quite similar to the MCU[1], but the motor that drives the body is completely new - new sensor, new electronics, new features!

HDSDI output with all available broadcast and film scanning formats (interlaced, progressive, RAW output, 2k film format optional soon), ASI output, H264 encoder onBoad, recording feature optional soon.

The latest CMOS chip technology (Altasense 4562) and the globally renowned know-how of the German Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits allow for professional HD operations at a total weight of just 200g and an incredible maximum power consumption of less than 5W!

In the case of the CUNIMA MCU[2], outer dimensions of just 34 x 34 x 111.5 mm provide enough space for a complete HD/SD multi-format camera - hence, an external camera control unit is history, now.

  • ASI output in H.264 guarantees you a perfect connection to wireless transmitting systems in highest quality and less data rate. Just multiplex the streams and transmit several videos signals with one system.
  • The C-Mount mount is one of the smallest mounts and can be adapted to every other mount like PL-Mount or B4 mount. Use the lenses you use with every other camera!
